History in the making…again!! The Women’s Flag Football team are the Mideast Conference Champs (again) and will play in the first ever Flag Football State Championship* this Saturday at the Durham County Memorial Stadium. Come out and show your support! They'll either play at 11am or 12 pm and 3rd place game is at 1:15pm and championship at 2:30pm.

*Women's flag football is not a sanctioned sport in North Carolina, so the playoff will not be recognized as a N.C. High School Athletic Association state championship. However, the NCHSAA Board of Directors will discuss a proposal to sanction the sport at its board meeting next month.
